Privacy Policy — Bingo Caller
Last Updated: August 2, 2026
Overview
Bingo Caller is an offline bingo number caller for hosts. It has no account,
no sign-in, and no server of our own. The active game and your preferences are
stored on your device. This policy explains the limited data handled by the app
and by the third-party services it uses.
Information We Collect
We do not collect your name, email address, contacts, photos, precise
location, or any account information. The app itself does not transmit the
numbers you call or any content you enter.
The following is handled on the device or by third-party services:
- Game and settings data — the current game (mode, called numbers, playback state) and your preferences (language, call interval, speech rate, text-to-speech on/off, keep-screen-awake), stored locally.
- Advertising data — in the free version, Google AdMob may process device and advertising identifiers, approximate (IP-derived) location, and ad interaction data to serve and measure ads, subject to your consent choices.
- Analytics events — anonymous operational events only: a game started, completed, or abandoned; the 75/90 mode selected; external display connected or failed; ad load failure; ad-removal screen viewed; and purchase outcome. Called numbers are never sent.
- Crash diagnostics — technical failure context such as error type, device model, and OS version, without called numbers or personal content.
- Purchase status — Apple or Google processes the one-time ad-removal purchase. The app stores only the resulting entitlement state locally and never sees your payment details.
How We Use Information
- To restore your game and settings after the app is closed or interrupted.
- To show the audience board on a connected external display.
- To display ads in the free version and to remove all ads after purchase.
- To understand, in aggregate, which features are used and where the app fails, so we can fix and improve it.
We do not sell personal information and we do not use your data for
profiling or credit, employment, insurance, or similar decisions.
Data Storage
Game state and preferences are stored in the app's private storage on your
device. They are not uploaded to a Bingo Caller server, because no such server
exists. If your device or platform backup is enabled, the local data may be
included in that backup under Apple's or Google's terms. Ad-removal entitlement
is owned by the store, not by a backup file.
Third-Party Services
- Google AdMob (free version) — ad delivery and measurement.
How Google uses data
- Google User Messaging Platform — collects and stores your ad consent choices where required (for example, in the EEA and UK).
- Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics — anonymous usage events and crash diagnostics.
Firebase privacy
- Apple App Store / Google Play Billing — processes the one-time purchase and restore.
- Device text-to-speech — the number being called is passed to your operating system's speech engine so it can be read aloud. Its handling is governed by your device manufacturer's policy. You can turn text-to-speech off in Settings.
- Store version check and review request — the app may query the app store for the latest version and may ask the store to show its native rating dialog. No personal data is sent by the app in these requests.
The app does not use any external display service that sends your game to a
third-party cloud. The audience board is rendered by your own device on a
supported external screen, and it never contains ads, purchase prompts, or
settings.
Your Rights
- Delete all locally stored data at any time by uninstalling the app.
- Turn text-to-speech and keep-screen-awake on or off in Settings.
- Change or withdraw your advertising consent where a consent form is shown, using your device's ad settings or the consent options presented by the app.
- Limit ad tracking through your device settings (iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking; Android: Settings → Privacy → Ads).
- Remove all ads permanently on your device with the one-time purchase.
- Depending on your region (for example, under GDPR or CCPA), you may request access to or deletion of data held by the third-party providers listed above; contact us and we will direct you to the correct process.
Data Security
Local data is kept in the app's private storage area, protected by your
device's operating system and, where enabled, by device encryption. Requests
made by the third-party SDKs listed above use encrypted connections. No method
of storage or transmission is completely secure, so we limit what the app
handles in the first place.
Children's Privacy
Bingo Caller is a general-audience hosting tool and is not directed to
children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from
children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through this
app, contact us and we will help remove it.
Data Retention
- On-device data (current game, preferences, ad-removal entitlement cache) is kept until you delete it or uninstall the app. There is no server copy.
- Analytics and crash data are retained by Google Firebase according to Google's retention policy for those products and contain no personal identifiers we can link to you.
- Advertising data is retained by Google AdMob according to Google's policies and your consent choices.
- Purchase records are retained by Apple or Google as the store of record. We keep no purchase database.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy when the app changes. The revised version will be
posted at this address with a new "Last Updated" date. Continuing to use the app
after an update means you accept the revised policy.
